Mirror film (also known as one-way mirror film or reflective window film) is a type of window film that creates a mirror-like surface on one side of the glass—providing daytime privacy while still allowing you to see out. Mirror film enhances both indoor comfort (by reducing heat) and safety (through the mirror effect) in a home or office.
🪞⚙️ How Does Mirror Film Work?
The film contains a reflective metal layer (often aluminium or titanium).
When light is stronger on one side, it reflects—making the glass appear as a mirror.
On the darker side, you can still see through the glass.
Think of it like this: During the day, passersby see their own reflection in your window, while you can still see out from inside.
